Located within the industrial campus of Jindal Stainless in Hisar, the Club was conceived as the social and recreational heart of the township: a place where work gives way to community, wellness, and family life. Rather than treating leisure facilities as isolated amenities, the project brings together sports, fitness, hospitality, and gathering spaces within a landscape-driven campus that encourages everyday interaction. The architecture is defined by a series of low-rise pavilions arranged around courts, gardens, and water. Gently curved roofs establish a distinctive identity while responding to the climate through generous overhangs, shaded verandahs, and naturally ventilated spaces. Stone, textured plaster, exposed steel, and water are combined in a restrained material palette that lends the buildings a quiet permanence while remaining robust enough for an industrial setting. A carefully choreographed sequence of landscaped courts, pools, entrance plazas, and pedestrian pathways connects the club's diverse facilities, creating a campus that is experienced as a walk through gardens rather than a collection of buildings. The result is an environment that balances openness with intimacy, allowing spaces for active recreation, informal encounters, and moments of quiet retreat. The club accommodates a comprehensive range of recreational and social facilities, including a swimming pool, fitness and wellness areas, indoor sports halls, badminton and squash courts, outdoor tennis courts, banquet and dining facilities, and flexible venues for cultural programmes, celebrations, and community events. Together, these spaces support a vibrant programme of activities that strengthens relationships among employees and their families while promoting health, recreation, and a shared sense of belonging. Designed as more than a leisure destination, the Jindal Stainless Club demonstrates how architecture can contribute to the culture of an industrial campus by creating places that foster community, encourage wellbeing, and enrich everyday life.
